Learn what to expect from the Demon Slayer Kayou Metal Pendant Blind Pack Series 2: quality, random contents, and whether it's worth adding to your collection.
Quick answer
The Demon Slayer Kayou Metal Pendant Blind Pack Series 2 is a solid pick if you enjoy surprise collectibles and want an official, detailed metal charm for display or daily use. Just know that each pack is random, so you won't pick your character.
What makes this pendant series different
Unlike standard acrylic or rubber keychains, this series uses a metal pendant design with a stained-glass-inspired look. That means the artwork is printed on metal, giving it a more premium feel and a bit more durability than plastic or paper alternatives.
Each pendant includes a clip-style keychain attachment, so you can actually use it on bags, keys, or just display it as part of a collection. The metal construction also means it's less likely to bend or scratch compared to softer materials.
The blind pack experience: what to expect
Because it's a blind pack, you won't know which character you get until you open it. That's part of the fun, but it also means you might get a duplicate if you buy multiple packs. If you're hunting for a specific character, be prepared to trade or buy from resellers.
The series features detailed character artwork, but the exact character lineup isn't listed in the product details. If you're hoping for a particular character, you may want to check community posts or unboxing videos to see which characters are in the series.
Value and price considerations
At around USD 6.11 per pack, this is a budget-friendly way to get an official Demon Slayer collectible. Compared to full figures or larger statues, the price is low, but remember that you're paying for one random pendant, not a guaranteed character.
The catalog comparison price of USD 8.99 suggests you're getting a discount, but the real value depends on how much you enjoy the surprise element and the quality of the metal charm. If you're a completionist, the cost can add up quickly.
Decision rules: should you buy?
- You love surprise collectibles: If you enjoy the thrill of opening blind boxes and don't mind not knowing which character you'll get, this pack is a great fit. The surprise element is part of the fun. Set a budget for how many packs you're willing to buy before you start.
- You want a durable, usable keychain: The metal pendant with a clip-style attachment is more durable than acrylic or rubber, making it suitable for everyday use on bags or keys. Consider whether you'll actually use it or just display it – this affects how much you value the metal build.
- You're hunting for a specific character: If you have a favorite Demon Slayer character and you're not willing to risk getting a different one, a blind pack may not be the best choice. Look for listings that show the exact character or consider trading. Check community forums or social media to see which characters are in the series before buying multiple packs.
